As an average of excitement per game?
Dreadlocks of Doom
Best career?

I always liked adrian Antonini too bc I remember the big gorilla coming up on the scoreboard after home runs and he hit the first one I remember.

He didn't even pitch 2 innings at LSU and was a mediocre hitter.

Nope. But simply bigger.
Am I going to have to drop you off on the side of the road? I was expecting a kiss when I walked you to the door.

Eddie Furness. Walk into the HOF room & you'll find his name at the top of almost all the hitting records. As for Joey Bell, not no but Hell No. Skip kicked him off the team after securing a trip to Omaha for good reason. He's the only LSU old timer who has not only not returned for any reunions, he refuses to return.

I know it must be hard for you to have an actual discussion, weird considering you made the thread seeking a dicussion, but if this is your position, maybe present an argument, you know like rational thinking adults do. But if the best retort you can come up with is this, then maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree.
So you think there is a bigger gap between Bregman and the next best shortstop than there is between Furniss and the next best first baseman. The logical starting point to present that argument would be for you to say who you believe the 2nd best players are at SS and 1B.

oddly enough, he did the same thing to the Cleveland Indians when they tried to get him to come to the 20 year reunion for their 1996 AL champion team.

Not the best, but Mason Katz was so fun to watch.

I'm saying that in terms of all-around best baseball player; that Bregman was the best SS to come out of LSU. I'm sorry it doesn't agree with your anti- Paul era or the pro- gorilla ball movement where Skip is rightfully King Baby.
But I believe that Bregman's ability at SS is greater than The other guys you mentioned than that factor is to the next 1B behind Furness. Furniss DH, and he played with hotter bats (as did Larson) which is also being discussed. I also believe that Bregman's range in the field is much greater than Larson's or Furniss's; just like Larson and Furniss's slugging and power is greater then Bregs's. I have never said the two were NOT the best at their positions. But boy do you want to argue by to what degree.
What you are arguing is a moot point on a meaningless internet website thread that has to do with the title only in said thread. And I'm sorry I literally thought I was talking to a woman.
I mean no disrespect.
If you still want me to put Furniss in the title I will.

A ballsy move by Paul to randomly stick him in left field as a freshman in Hoover. Paid off.

Live by him. Seems like a great dude. I know he had some problems in the past; but he seemed to get himself together. No?
