I don't think it'll be in Dallas given the rumor they don't want to play Monday.
I doubt BYU wants to come to LSU or NOLA.
I doubt LSU wants to anywhere west of Texas.
To me it comes down to Shreveport, Nashville and a wild card of St Louis. Not sure if their stadium is in good enough shape to hold a game in this short notice or if their turf is still good. But it might be just far enough from LSU that BYU would go for it

Shreveport, St Louis, Nashville? Only one of those is a good city (Nashville) and it is further for BYU fans. Makes Zero sense.

Best move would be Provo and just look good to everyone.

If not there BYU would choose PHX. Between both schools and a ton of direct flights from everywhere.

Agree not likely but why the F$#% would you go to Memphis?

1. Superdome- Logical because Tiger Stadium could feel that crazy slow moving Harvey's leftovers and get stopped with lightning/rain etc... And the same company manages NRG.

2. Alamodome- San Antonio as it is near the storm but dodged most of it... Oh wait, cancel that as it floods easy and the airport already shut down 60 flights. However they should be home free by Saturday, but you never know. So cancel Alamodome

3. University of Phoenix Stadium Gelndale Az. Available as U2 is the next scheduled event on Sep 19.

I like the Superdome for all of you boys n girls easy access to it. However, playing in Utah might be better for LSU as it would get a home game with BYU at a future date. That only works to our financial benefit if the promoters of the game at NRG can get paid insurance for their money spent on this opener, so they have to cut into our profits, but a home and home would be better than these openers. They do give us recruiting exposure in a city like Houston where we are getting the fruits- Chaisson, Monroe, Ray Thorton, Vincent, almost Marvin etc...

If BYU has any say it would be there second choice. Not even a debate.

It's only 4400 ft elevation in Provo.
The difference between 4,400 feet and 5,280 feet (Denver) of elevation for LSU if they aren't there for a week before to acclimate is minimal. Either intermountain location would be tough for LSU.

tl/dr: Still a decided advantage to BYU if the game is played in Provo.

You think the game will come to the Superdome with the Grambling Tulane Game in town? They probably have 30-40 rooms booked in NOLA

1. Superdome
2. Jerry dome

NOT Tiger Stadium. I don't want another lightning cancellation like our opener with McNeese.

Nashville makes more sense than a lot of the shitty City's people are throwing out. But you do realize (as I said) it IS FURTHER. Right or wrong we look bad after UF shot last year. I hope we bend over backwards to make it easier on our INFERIOR opponent.
We are better and should beat their arse anywhere. Go play them some where that makes them happy and the sponsors happy and be done with it.
