LSU vs Houston was mid 90's and we were down like 30-3 or something. O

I agree. Down 21 away from home vs top 15 team middle of third and no rational basis to believe we would win. I had accepted the loss, honestly.

Prior to comeback we didn't know what was possible. It was not midseason, we'd never seen this group do it.

Only about 10,000-15,000 of us stayed for that comeback.

I'll never forget it though.

I left, i probably would have state but it was homecoming and my date/then gf was in a dress and freezing.

I don't regret it. Sorry we shouldn't have to come back from 30 down against Troy.

I was in the student section. In all my drunken glory I decided that taking my shirt off in the cold would somehow spark a comeback. Apparently it worked Thank god for whiskey or I may have died that night.

Just realized I was at most of these.

Houston was up by 20 going into 4th quarter and LSU scored 21.

My daughter and I kept video recording me screaming "It ain't over! And Don't call it a comeback" during the Troy comeback. She learned a lot about never giving up at that game.

At halftime of Fla I kept telling my buddy (Jacob's uncle) "I Believe"

Tidbit, Jacobs dad had to watch legendary night in 07 from RV in parking lot because he couldn't find two tickets for he and Jacob's step mom with so many family members needing tickets.

I don't know if UF 07 really counts, because it didn't feel lost at any point (at least to me)...was not surprised we won that game.

I was just watching the replay of this game and about 1:26 into the game, when we're down 17, one of the announcers says "this offense isn't built to comeback". I know that I felt that way at the time.

Of course, two plays later is the fake punt, and the rest is history. I don't know if this game was the greatest comeback, but it ranks up with the best of them.

Great comebacks indeed but NONE have yet to meet criteria. Houston was not ranked (I could be wrong about this). I do know LSU was heavily favored. Florida never led by more than 10 points in 2007. Both games were in Tiger Stadium anyway. All 3 games (Houston, Troy, and Florida) were incredible come from behind victories but all were in Tiger Stadium. Still looking for comeback using following criteria: Down by 17 points or more in 2nd half against ranked opponent away from Tiger Stadium. Anyone?

We were down 17-7 against #15 Arizona State in 2005. I thought the deficit was bigger until I looked it up.
