still myles. a QB in his first SEC start going 345, 3td's was a pipe dream up to 2018.
Yet the slapdicks on here want to go with one of the true freshman that didn’t have great high school numbers. Amazing

You know the old saying......
Nobody hates LSU as much as LSU hates LSU. This certainly describes half of the posters here.
no, we love LSU, that’s why we don’t bury our head in the sand. We want us to play at our max capabilities, and failing to recognize our faults hurts that effort.

You do know that honest critique is healthy, right?

Sorry, but just looking at raw statistics doesn't tell the story. He played poorly, against a lesser SEC team, at home.

His performance was not good, the plays were good, receivers were open, he is slow a foot and slower in the decision department. A practice QB and a game time QB are totally different

If Burrow had made that pass the board would be euphoric in praise.

The difference between the two is that Burrow THREW his receivers open more often than not. Whereas, at this moment, Brennan is not confident enough to make that throw. But I'm not ready to give up on Brennan, I think he has a world of potential.

WHAT IF Myles Brennan goes down with a bad injury?

Who takes his place? MJ or TJF?

Who is more prepared to run the Offense?

This is how it works. When a player sucks, you look at the other options.

Disagree. 27 points is more than enough to win any game.

Completely 100% disagree with you.

Especially in today's time.

You are still not accounting for the 600+ yards of offense we gave up including 300+ after the catch.

No doubt, but an offense that actually sustains drives early on takes a lot of pressure off the defense. Also takes away so many extra possessions.

Our offense was flat out horrible in the first half. We were gifted 4 turnovers, so I am not sure how that impacted overall offensive numbers.

Brennan needs to learn to trust his receivers and get the ball to them quicker.

Agreed.

LSU defense sucked more than the offense! We always have a great defense but this year it is awful !

ceo didn't do myles any favors by not playing him when we were up last year by so many points to give him game experience. Oklahoma game at half it was 49-14 , Joe shouldnt have seen another snap.

neither of them could do any better. If they could, they would have already separated themselves as the clear leader in practice.

There is plenty of evidence out there that this is simply not always true. It's always the go to argument when people talk about replacing QB's. You simply do not know this for a fact because neither of the backups have played.

So many players and Orgeron himself, said that the defense was light years ahead of last years defense. Well that was from all the practice time they had to "separate themselves from...". Well you saw how that played out Saturday. The defense got torched. So to say that neither of the Freshman QB backups can play because they haven't separated themselves from being better than the starter, is simply false, and just anecdotal comment.

Gonna use one of the arguments used to defend Brennan..."AFTER ONE GAME, THEY CAN'T BE AWEFUL!!!!! LET THEM WATCH FILM OF THEMSELVES, AND POOF! ALL THE BAD shite WILL JUST VANISH LIKE A FART IN THE WIND!!!"

Whoever can escape the rush better and is a threat to run.
