Miles has had 3 years to wow us with something, “anything” in Spring game action, real game action, or mop up duty.

I understand that he’s been handcuffed by the coaching staff at end of game opportunities, but....

So, if Burrow didn't start coming on until the last four games last year, why wouldn't you allow Brennan the same chance before slamming him?

You think any coach would ever say their backup QB isn’t ready?

Actions are more indicative than words. We have two QB recruits committed for next season. No room for a transfer.
Do you remember, two years ago he kept a slot available for a "Joe Burrow". He knew then and he knows now.
We are here and we aren't backing down.
You guys act like we don't belong at the top. Be Alpha!

no they don’t. Hurts had to transfer in, Fields had to transfer in, no one is behind Tua

Tua behind hurts, Burrow third string at OSU, Fields 2nd string at UGA... they all recruited big

Are you not paying any attention to what I have said. Your theory only holds water if Burrow was at OSU, Hurts at UA, and Fields waiting his turn at UGA.

That is not the reality we live in.

Went to Clemson. Trevor happened. Now he is at Northwestern. Sat out last year. He bombed in his first game this year I think against stanford. Now he is the back up. He has thrown 1 TD and 4 ints

I think Myles wil be fine, he deserves the chance, been waiting biding his time and should have his shot next year. I think he will improve with all the first team reps and spring practice.

On another note, heard a lil smoke about King possibly wanting to transfer here if he leaves Houston. What y’all think about that?

I get what the OP is saying. It would be nice to se some flashes of a great QB at some point during those blowout wins.
Burrow was thought of by half the OSU fans as the best QB in front of Haskins going into the season. When he played in appearances he looked great for OSU.

Burrow’s completion percentage went up almost 20pts after an off season with Brady. Maybe Brennan can have this same type of progress?

I’ve never slammed him. You have the wrong poster. But I saw things in Joe from game 1 that I don’t see in Brennan regardless of competition level while in the game and that is pocket presence/awareness & toughness. He looks a little bit scared in the pocket to me. Just doesn’t really look comfortable and that’s a huge intangible for a QB

I do think the coaches will do the right thing, just like when they got Burrow. .My post was responding to other posters who are touting Brennan, when I don’t see it.
