Can an injection of his own white blood cells cause it to heal faster?

O is playing 4 D chess with his career. If Brennan is hurt for a significant period of time he can use that as an excuse for the team being terrible and the horrible record.

I hate this for Myles, but just rest up until next season.

No sense in risking further injury.

The real problem with this is he will go into next year with barely any experience STILL

Brennan’s frail body has always been one of the main concerns. Looks like it’s a legit one at this point

Poor thing I know.
SOB had to probably ingest 5000-6000 calories daily for 3 years including waking up in the middle of the night to drink weight gainer to finally see the field and now this .

My understanding from listening to Hanny is that it’s not a re-injury concern as much as a question of whether he can play effectively through the pain. He can be cleared medically, but still be in enough pain that his throwing motion is impaired.

IMHO - if he feels good enough to play, the doctors have cleared him, and the coaches think he can give enough to be our best option.. he should play. Even if we don’t win a game the rest of the season, he needs the snaps.

It took all of 3 games for him to get knocked out for a whole season. Dude has no durability.

I actually believe LSU puts up a fight at home. Yeah it's Bama, but the best thing these freshman QBs need is comfort and time to prepare. I can see 55-35 Bama win, and yes that's awful, but not Auburn awful.

Or we attempt to groom one of the freshman and see how he develops.

He needs to not take unnecessary shots. He's not built like Burrow.

I liked the attitude of taking the big hit but you gotta go out of bounds.

Why didn't they give him one more week of rest/healing this week before giving it a go next week?

We're going to lose by at least 3 TDs with or without Brennan

This isn’t true. We could win with a healthy Brennan.

But the fact is he’s not and the season is lost anyway so he shouldn’t play again unless he’s 100% pain-free.

Takes about 8 weeks to heal from that injury if he pushes to much he will end up having surgery. This season is a bust let the young kids learn and grow.

Praying they don't kill TJ or Max.

I'm reminded of the natty game in 09 when they knocked out Colt McCoy.

When you tear a muscle, that's not something you generally just take a couple of weeks off and come back from. I've been assuming all along that this is just gamesmanship to make the other team prepare for multiple QB's. I don't know who it's fooling, though. If Brennan comes back at all this season, I doubt it's any time soon.
