My take...Wasn't expecting a win. I was looking for progress though

and how well we could play for 4 quarters. They never looked like a defeated team out there. Defense looked stout in the fourth quarter. They are definitely closing the gap and I expect the team to compete and possibly win next year. Say what you want but this was a transitional year. Win out and aim high....next year could be special.

I think there's been a lot of improvement.

There's been a lot of improvement. I hope they don't let his loss get them down. If anything, they should use it as motivation to utterly destroy everyone else on the schedule.

has the potential to destroy the rest of the season or spring board to a solid 9-3 season.

Accidental down vote ... Brennan has potential for sure.

Still haven't scored more than 20 points since 2010. The gap is the same as it was before. LSU is a mediocre program right now and it isn't bright with Orgeron at the helm.

I agree. I definitely see hope for the future. LSU will be returning a good nucleus on defense, and I thought overall, the freshmen O-linemen played decently. Etling had more time to throw than I thought he would. If O can bring in some more beasts on the lines to keep building depth, and if Brennan can give us solid QB play, LSU should be very good next year.

It's hard to score with poor quarterback play... I believe LSU will be solid at quarterback next year.

The team looked very upbeat at the end of the game. They are going to facefrick the rest of the schedule. The only one that looked down was Etling.

ETA we got out of this one very healthy too. Obviously they are gonna be sore but nobody got knocked out of the game.

We’ve had port qb play for a while. How do we think that improves without actually playing our future qb?
