For the board's sake, why don't you stop acting like some silly little teenager throwing a temper tantrum because you don't like Les Miles.

You think for some reason that I want LSU to fail, when I'm obviously going extreme lengths to saying I want anything and everything done to win our next game (which everyone is jsut forgetting about). Don't question my fanhood when you aren't really even reading what I write. If I think Saban is a better coach, it doesn't mean I hate LSU.

has made that money coaching football so for all of you that "think" you know something about football becasue you played on some chicken shite pop warner team or high school team, Coach Miles has forgotten more about football than you will ever know.

I actually disagree with this a bit.

Miles teams have been penalized a lot. The problems on the o5 offensive line were horrendous. But I think Studwara has fixed a lot of that.

I'll take the defensive penalties because up until this year, I think LSU played an all out physical style of football and showed a tremendous amount focus even against lesser opponents.

Somewhere in 2007 spread teams began to take advantage of the defense and I think that's gotten the team to a little lost and they are missing tackles all over the place and no longer playing

If anyone who has seen how multi-faceted and complex a college football practice is, I doubt you'd be making statements that would even remotely insinuate you being on the same possible level of knowledge of coaching a college team as Coach Miles. He doesn't run around screaming at players all located in the same area like a highschool coach does. He manages his staff, who coach the players. Yes he does some hands on stuff. The video clips of Saban one-on-one coaching a player (everyone is always in awe of this) is not something he spends a huge amount of time doing, contrary to how it appears. Miles has more to do than worry about the fans' opinion of his performance. And, contrary to many people's belief, things do happen that you don't know about. All one has to do is read a game thread from start to finish to see how unfounded and wishy-washy the publics opinion really is. Les will make the necessary corrections or he'll eventually be replaced. I believe he'll fix it; and it won't take much for the fan base to love him again.

Coach Miles is a great coach at a great school.

Great coach + great school + great players = 7-5?

The LSU class that won the NC last year barely knew Saban other than when he recruited them. Someone had to coach those guys up to D-1 standards over the 4 years they were at LSU

Yep. And that someone (for the defense) is now the head coach at Nebraska, which had a better record than we did playing in a tougher conference than we did.

he doesn't give a shite what you think

He doesn't give a shite about winning football games, either. That's the only thing that matters to me. I couldn't care less about what he thinks about what I think.

He is a multimillionair and has made that money coaching footbal

Keanu Reeves is a multimillionaire and has made that money acting. He still sucks as an actor, though.

Miles has forgotten more about football than you will ever know.

Apparently he forgot it all.

You can't win a NC with someone elses players if you don't know what in the frick you are doing

Les Miles and Larry Coker disagree.

You had two "freshmen" QB's that got a lot of playing time and experience for next year

Experience is only helpful if you learn from it. Our QBs haven't learned anything this year, as was evident late in the season.

Y'all are number 2 right now in recruiting

February rankings don't mean shite unless they lead to January rankings.

Y'ALL HAVE WON THE frickING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP 2 TIMES IN THE LAST 5 YEARS.

Good news for Alabama and Nebraska, who now have the coaches who were apparently responsible for that.

Some of you guys are starting to sound like the BAMA fans you always make fun of.

Bama fans expect miracles, and damn if they didn't get one this year. LSU fans expect competence. If you have top 5 talent, you ought to at least be in the top TWENTY FIVE on the field.

When coaches start listening to fans it won't be long before they are sitting with them.

When the problems are so obvious that even the fans can see them, but the coach refuses to, it won't be long before he is sitting with them, either.

Did Dinardo have the most successful 3 year run in LSU history and I missed it?

Granted, LSU had problems this year, both due to inexperienced QBs and, well, the defensive issues were all too painfully evident to all of us. However...

Here's where coaches and those in the locker rooms know more than the average fan.

When you switch a player from Defense to Offensive line, the transition is incredibly difficult. What we don't realize - as a dear friend who prior to retirement enjoyed a nice, albeit by his own description not a stellar NFL career explained to us in the midst of our bitching about all of LSU's O line penalties last year - is that the way you fire off the ball on defense is totally opposite from how you do so on the offensive line. All year we bitched and moaned about Ciron Black's false starts, etc. ... only to be embarrassed and red-faced at half-time of the NCG as our friend patiently (and probably far more graciously than I would have) explained to us why.

What appeared to us to be a terrible lack of discipline was just the steep learning curve coaches understand {and anticipate} when switching players from defense to offensive line positions. How many false start and related penalties did Black have this year as opposed to last year? Not many. What we as fans sometimes see on the field isn't always caused by what we think it is.
