You can say this for most SEC games.
A play here a play there, a bad call here or there controls the outcomes of most games.

Nice Post Bama Scoop....very good assessment.
I don't even think bama had that great of an offense last year. What generally happened, as in the LSU game was that the bama D shut the other team down...many 3 and outs...and therefore the opposing team's D usually wore out around the middle of the second half...as the LSU d did against bama....fwiw...i do think jefferson and scott were moving the ball well until they got hurt and the outcome might have been different had they remained healthy.
There are some real losers on this site...but it is the rant I get that. People with no clue....nuts for lsu, tcuden, the jew...many, many more....hilarious when people question if we have the coaching to do well....after miles finished in the top 5 three times with 2 west titles and a SEC and NC. Sure LSU had talent...as THEY DO NOW...to say we don't have the coaching is..well just a bunch of idiots just like you said...that have no clue what it actually takes to win. They don't deserve to be LSU fans WHEN lsu does win big...because they damn sure weren't here when things weren't so rosy...so frick em. fwiw....I think bama will have some trouble this year...they don't have the D they had last year...at all...talent yes...but nowhere close to the same D...and therefore that will impact how good there offense will be because they won't be able to wear down opposing team's defenses as much and take over a game...just my thoughts...still 9-3, 10-2 for bama....but far less dominant...and LSU will surprise...and the LSU D could be fantastic this year......we shall see.

You're 100% correct. The coaches stressed 1st & 10 and short yardage. According to the stats, we averaged about 4.5 yards a rush. That's ball control. Throw in a stout defense and you win games.
