this team is the least focused, most ME oriented team I have ever witnessed.

Miles, by his ignoring it, is to blame.

Look at the difference in JJ and JLee, that is all I would need to see to put JL on the bench for good.

If I am going to lose, let me lose with players going balls out.

It will take more time for them to start coming together as a team.

These painful losses should provide plenty of common purpose.

You can clearly see that Byrd doesn't want to have anything to do with Lee. Lafell and Scott seem to be the only players on offense who are even trying to fire up the offense.

What worries me is that the team is in a tail sping and Miles doesn't even seem to recognize it. Blaming players is not being a leader. You never blame your troops. The leader should take responsibility for what happens on his watch, not try to blame 20 year old kids.

How do you know he's ignoring it? Just because there are no results doesn't mean he's not trying. Are you in the locker room and team meetings? You've got to hold the players accountable.

Had a friend on the sidelines for the Ga. game and said it was not only chaotic on the sideline but the players looked like they had no clue what was meant when they came off of the field and were talked to by coaches.

Also said he like to faint when Masaquoi (sp) lined up wide, alone, and none of the coaches noticed at first.

And I can't blame them either. Have you ever had a boss telling you to do something you knew was going to fail anyway? And the reason you did it was because he was your boss. But you had absolutely no passion or pride involved in what you did because you knew it wasn't going to work, and inevitably, it didn't.

Yep. That's the way the defensive backs are playing. They know the system won't work.

Yes, and I think this has infected the rest of the team. They know the D won't work, so why should anything else matter?

Maybe fixing that aspect of the team will infuse some confidence in the rest of the team, because prior to a couple of weeks ago, the offense looked pretty good (QB notwithstanding).

ok, he is trying, but failing miserably.

you cant make the tackles, or the throws, or the blocks for the players. But as a coach, you should be able to motivate and create team chemistry.....and DEVELOP leaders, of which this team has none.

it's called lack of freakin SENIOR leadership - these guys are all out for themselves.....no Doucet, Flynn, Hester or Dorsey - sick of seeing these guys complain about the QB and drop freakin passes! Byrd should never complain again - he does not step up when we need a reception the most!

We stayed to the very end after last player left the field. We exited gates 8 and 9, right by the player's locker room entrance. As we walked by the glass front area where you can see the entrance to the locker room, many team members were sitting in there still in uniform. Richard Dickson was standing up in front of them taking and gesturing, like he was trying to motivate them. Many hung heads. I was surprised not to see one of the seniors standing there doing this.

Not really. It's not there. This team does not have an identity or a soul. If they did, they probably would still not contend for the NC this year, but they would be playing a hell of a lot better. Georgia, Florida, and Ole Miss were games in which they were not even competetive. Troy was troubling to say the least. Yeah, a win is a win, but in that case it was also yet another omen.

It is mostly on coaching.

I have been posting the same thing since the UF game...Who are the leaders on this team? Last year it was easy to point to a leader! Our co-DC may suck, but the Dbacks were blowing assignments left and right yesterday...They should know who they are responsible for!

But why should they be any different than our fans who give up on the team and don't believe in them and have no respect for most of our players?

Because perhaps the players are the ones actually playing the game. They should take more pride in what they do and not worry about the fans. Please give the "bad fan" crap a rest.

as a coach you work the shite out of them and become the common enemy. See Tom Coughlin. This is the same shite we had under Dinardo. We have no team chemistry. We miss the leadership of Steltz, Dorsey and Hester. If we had guys with their head up their arse, those 3 would probably put a foot in it.

To me, that's the single biggest problem w/ this team. Last year, LSU was loaded to the gills w/ leaders (Dorsey, Flynn, Hester, Steltz, etc), but I don't see any leaders on this team.

As for Jarrett lee, you'd think that some of the veteran WR's would try and be supportive of him, but I've noticed all year that they don't even try to help him out.

Hard to believe that last year's championship TEAM could have such a different mindset this season.

Defensive team morale is really low. Talk to any of the players and they will tell you that.

Many dont have confidence in the DCs. The players dont like the schemes, play calls coming in late thus many dont know the play call,

The more and more I hear, I am really concerned on the defensive side of the ball. Its pretty disheartening how 2 guys have absolutely destroyed the team.
