I hoe that it does get easier because...anything would be better than this. Can't sleep. Can't eat. Can't think clearly.

First night back at work last night I worked hard to keep a couple of very sick people alive. I liked that. I didn't think about her much.

I work in a Neuro ICU and there's not alOt of time to think about personal shite.

Now I'm home and it's different. It HAS to get better than this or I ...shite I just don't know.

It WILL get better. That is certain. Everyone who has lost a parent will tell you that it gets better, even though it is hard.

Time heals all wounds.

Have a good cry (that's what I did a few times); call a friend to come over; or just hang out with us on TD. You have friends here.

Sorry for your loss, it's tough losing family near and dear to you especially when you did enjoyable things together. My wife and I both lost our mothers the past few years, it is tough realizing you will never see nor speak with them again. She will always be in your thoughts and likely would have wanted to go the way she did instead of a protracted illness. Hang in there.

Lost my dad right before the bama game last year.

I know there is nothing i can say to remove your pain. Just know that as the days pass the memories become stronger and help to shape, at least some, of your future. Stay close to your Dad and remaining family.

May God Bless you and your family and give you the strength to deal with your loss. From personal experience I know you never recover from the loss of a mother. But you will learn to live with it and thank God for Blessing you with her for a Mom.

I don't want to get too preachy, but I would like to pass along a thought that was given to me during a difficult time:

Without wavering, let us hold tightly to the hope we say we have, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.

May her memory be for a blessing. My best to you and your family

I am SO sorry to hear this, Brother.
She sounds like a fine woman.
I hope you and yours are okay and that you will cherish her love and her memory forever.
