Why not send them a letter saying LSU won't use SEC officials and will find their own?

This is just sad. I understand your frustration but do you think bitching and moaning is going to change the fact that Alabama was in superior shape and LSU limped off the field. In the 4th you guys were physically beat.
that was a convenient bye week wasnt it?

So people are pissed that LSU is now a victim of incompetence. So what?

Maybe they should send a letter to Les also telling him to get his players to quit going off-sides, delay of games, holding penalties.

LSU fans just want someone to blame and the better team won. Bama played with more discipline than LSU and the biggest change in game was not the INT. It was halftime, LSU did not adjust and Bama did. They came out and LSU could no longer contain Ingram.

Why don't you read the topics on this board? It is full of fans complaining about the offense in general to the poor play of the offensive line, mis-utilization of the receivers and rbs, etc. There is NO shortage of Tiger fans scrutinizing and criticizing LSU's play.

But again, like others you failed to read the letter. This is the last time I say this: The point in question is the competence of the replay booth officials. Period.

Beyond that, I think I can safely say no one is assuming LSU would have won the game had the call been made correctly. But it would have given them a chance.

Most of you Alabama fans were humbled after years of sub-par performance. But I see the obnoxious behavior has returned. That's ok, at least we don't have the legacy of getting blown out (basically in our own back yard) by...UTAH..

Oh or, losing at home to....UL Monroe..

Ah but I see no one wanting names, numbers, calling, or writing letters to LSU officials or coaching staff. The fact that many LSU fans are only doing this because they felt robbed looks like a bunch of whining. They did not care about officiating prior to game and only because of this do they care.

No I read the letter, does not change my opinion.
I guess I can just accept the fact LSU got beat and won't whine and moan about it like others. No point blaming that when LSU shot itself in the foot on more than 1 occasion yesterday.

Well, I don't think any LSU fan will apologize for caring that their team is a victim of incompetence.

You can't ask for more being on the road in the SEC, late in a game with National Championship implications, and your team makes a play to give them a chance to win. That's exactly where you want to be.

But instead, due to incompetence, Alabama was given the opportunity to close out the game as opposed to LSU EARNING the chance to win.

So I can tell you people are going to be upset with that and will feel motivated to do something. If you can't accept that, don't bother reading these posts.

i have accepted the fact that LSU lost as well. and the Tigers did shoot themselves in the foot. the point trying to be made is that LSU was in position to win the game late in the 4th but had the opportunity taken from them. thats the only thing i have beef about.

Tradition, how old are you? 12? Go play Call of Duty or something. Leave the sports commentary to the adults.

I wasn't aware that in 2004 LSU and Alabama were playing for a potential spot in the national title game.

With bigger games comes bigger expectations for the coaches, the players, as well as the officials.

Horse crap. Officiating shouldn't be any more incompetent in the UK/Vandy game than it is in the SECCG. The moral outrage at officiating on this board has everything to do with the perceived injustice towards LSU and nothing to do with how big or small the game was on a national scale. Like I said, when Bama has been hosed by the officials in this series (2004 in particular), there was no such outrage and outcry for just officiating. I'm just pointing out the obvious hypocrisy by the double standard displayed on this board throughout the years.

Like it only exists on this board.

If you read enough threads, there are many of us saying the reffing has been horrid this year and will damage the SEC...possibly sucking you guys in with it this year.

Bet you didn't know that the review booth ref(from Hoover-Ala) has a book out, one with a Bear quote in it, or that he listens to Paul Finebaum's Show(by a Vol..yet all Bama..and hates LSU from La days), and he has a picture of he and Finebaum together..did you know this?..you do now!

SEC Officiating..totally unbiased.

You could have pinpointed about 2-3 other controversial calls that might have affected the outcome.

The night was a bad beat. Injuries, bad calls, missed tackles, ...

10-2 exceeds my expectations this season.
