It has little to do with players not being competitive. The fact of the matter it this is simply another game for lsu and would be a nice way to cap off the season. This game literally defines the season for iowa. It won't matter though, lsu seems to have a few guys playing with chips on their shoulders this year and will have a QB who wants to prove himself. Iowa will be outmatched.

If they truly feel this way then Iowa wins by 3-4 TDs.

Looks to me more like sometimes y'all beat an SEC team in a bowl game, sometimes y'all lose to an SEC team in a bowl game, sometimes y'all lose to a non-SEC team in a bowl game...
...and sometimes y'all just don't even bowl game.
In all seriousness, I believe this game will come down to the 4th quarter where either team will have a chance to win it at the end. Good luck.

There may be some who are disappointed but I'll bet that 90% of LSU's players will be happy to be there and playing Iowa.
Iowa is a better game than much of LSU's regular season schedule.

I won't harbor any ill-will against you for being confident about your team, but unless LSU walks off the field and the refs allow play to continue, you ain't beating the Tigers by 3-4 TD's no matter where the team's heads are at.

Absolutely correct. As fans (especially on a dumb internet forum) we sometimes state & read opinions that don't reflect the effort put into fielding a competitive team. I have zero doubt that the players & coaches are excited to be playing in the post-season and against the Hawkeyes.
