Still bottom of the order.

Not really what you see from All Conference players but we’ll see I guess

I like Milam and think he’s set to have a good season

I’m just far more measured than most LSU fans who have already anointed him as a star.

His numbers speak for themselves. Those are indisputable facts. It really doesn’t matter what kind of fricked up reality you live in

Your argument is Jones needs protection, he is smashing the shite out of the ball to open this year,

I have not seen this. I have seen the walks and pitching around him, though

Anyone with a brain would consider someone hitting .311 while playing through the SEC to be high level, its not debatable.

Michael Braswell is not a high level player. Period. If he was he’d be in the minors right now. Now he’s lost all of his leverage because MLB said he’s not a high level player.

Milam only got better as the season went along

Perhaps law of numbers, perhaps he just got hot like we see all the time in baseball.

Against bad pitching

You missed my point entirely that he doesn’t have protection that opponents fear yet which is why he’s being pitched around.

When teams are ok to pitch around one is your best bats because there are bases open, then it reduces his significance and impact on the game. We see in all sports that a player can be neutralized with a good game plan. But a good team can’t be neutralized.

What is "proven?"

Milam, Brown, Pearson, Larson, Braswell, Stanfield are all what I would consider proven as far as SEC play is concerned.

Yea Jones is not proven either. A .301 BA and 28 Hr's don't mean nothing. Freakin clown....

How has that worked out for lsu? Has him walking helped or hurt lsu in scoring runs?

Not true at all. This fallacy needs to die. Especially at the college level

Starting pitching concerns me the most. We have good talent there that is unproven though. Kade looks like he may be ready for this step. The others has some question marks this early knowing how tough the SEC is. The SEC will grind you up and spit you out if aren’t ready and tough as a $2 steak.

Look at the tweet. He has 10 100+ exit velos thru the last 4 games. 2.5 per game is.. a lot. He actually is getting pitched to. And when that’s pointed out it’s, “well it’s bad pitching.” Butteaux doesn’t have a single consistent argument. It’s a troll. Yall stop.

Then why are you propping up Tenn offensive numbers? They’ve done the same

Dicky just hit a 3 run shot right after Jones got put on intentionally so teams can keep making that mistake if they want. You crying about it is weird though

Which LSU is and Jones is a big reason why

Yeah and he's hit the ball well. Tons of loud outs so far. Has some swing and miss on breaking stuff (expected from a power hitting freshman) but I want him to get at least one start per weekend.

he is always walking a ton, so it’s not like he has a terrible approach. I think he still has an insanely high OB%

Usually there’s a connection yeah lol. We’re talking about a bottom of the order hitter here who Carolina basically processed
