Vs A&M
22/41 242 3TD 1int

Vs Ga
20/37 306 3TD 1int

Just sharing for those not aware. I was surprised at his deep ball accuracy in those games.i know he’s not sitting Nuss but would be criminal not to practice some packages over next 2 weeks for MVB just in case Nuss stays on this trajectory.

And that’s with a shite team around him.

I wonder if guys on the team have seen anything in practice that make them think MVB could be the answer.

Kinda sorta, he’s not really a dual threat but he can move when he needs to

Yeah he has good instincts and some quickness in pocket.

Pissed me off watching his highlight from Ole Miss game last year where he pulled the read and juked defender for the TD.

Replacement for Nuss.

Backup for one year, starter for two.

Were the defenses all rushing 3 and dropping 8?

Yeah, he had better games vs Ga and AM, was really posting to show he has played and had success vs top SEC opponents while on a far inferior team. And his run stats aren’t there but you can watch the actual plays and see his ability.

Have to go back a look but with his above average(not great) mobility he would have forced Ole Piss out of that defense IMO.

He's definitely mobile. Way better in the pocket than Nuss is right now.

He’s not afraid to run unlike our porcelain doll Nuss.

great look for a true freshman QB that wasn't even supposed to play that had a terrible team around him, first year head coach, and going against the #2 defense in the country.

Do you remember Nuss as a true freshman vs Arkansas? Didn't look anywhere close to how good MVB played as a freshman.

Given Saban pulled his starter in the national championship game, I was kind of surprised Kelly didn’t do the same thing here in this game coming out at halftime.
