Can he build a defense against these new SEC offenses??

Would you want him?

He sucks. Minus getting Burch, his D hasn’t been good for years. Need new, young blood DCs.

Nope. I see another thread on the subject with Freeze and Muschamp.

Sorry I missed that thread.

Good lord if Pelini isn’t a good enough example of not to hire unsuccessful former head coaches who have ties to LSU then nothing will help some of you! Let’s get an upcoming younger coach who actually understands how to defend modern offenses.

His defenses haven't really been terrible at south carolina outside of this season. But he hasn't called the defense. It's all been by Travaris Robinson, who is a pretty good coach and elite DB coach.

If we're hiring anyone from that staff I'd love for it to be him.

Hiring a DC who previously won a national championship at LSU after trying and failing as a major P5 head coach? What could go wrong?

Another thread about this. No. We need a new young guy like brad white at Kentucky. Not old trash

Let’s not forget our shite team put up a million points on him with a freshman qb in his first start

No more washed up DCs who have been running the same schemes since 2005.

Get over it, Pelini isn't going anywhere, he will at least have one more season, unless he leaves on his own

He's coaching in the SEC now and sucks. Why the hell you want him back here to do the same?
