This dude has the swivel-hips, smoothness and acceleration/speed of Marcus ALlen, combined with the toughness and "run through them" spirit of Terry Robiskie.

I cannot wait to see him blow up on the defenses in 2008

i would love to hammer you on this but i saw some incredible things on the scrimmage replay. he is a very smooth runner and could be a felix jones type (i.e. 8 yard avg.)

Getting a little ahead of ourselves, aren't we boys. I personally think that anything Richard Murphy can do, Trindon Holliday does better. I'd rather have Holliday run any play you want to give to Murphy and I think Holliday has a better shot of turning it into a TD. Just my opinion.

Belongs in the slot, ala Skyler Green and Josh Reed. Throw him some screen passes and watch him go freak on the d.

Murphy is better than TH, but TH is special.

We are loaded, dude.

I have not been that impressed with Murph from what I have seen so far. I hope this is his breakout year and he tears it up but he didn't really impress me that much last year.

Can you imagine LSU in '10 running a WV type option offense with:
Shepard, Jefferson as dual-threat QB's
Lee and Garrett as drop-back QB's
Murphy, Holliday, Scott, Pratt, and Ford at RB
Lafell, Toliver, Benton, Randle (if we get him) at WR.

dude......I was thinking that he's more of a, Walter Peyton, Bo Jackson, Jacob Hester, Gale Sayers, O.J. Simpson running back, all rolled in to one person.

I guess I can understand that view even though I don't share it, but the Trindon comment is unexplainable.

When I first saw him, the first thing I thought was Marcus Allen with real speed. Allen had decent speed but nothing like Murphy.

I hope your right, but I think people are a little too excited about the spring game. There were an awful lot of practice squad guys he was running against.

Long neck maybe, but he doens't stand straight up like Harvey did...thankfully. I don't ever remember it happening, but I was waiting for the day someone knocked HW on his but from running straight up like that.

that's assuming you know that he doesn't but I have personally witnessed Trindon make some fairly impressive grabs along the sideline.
