There were two ways to handle this, ignore and let the article come out and fester during the entire tournament, or rip off the bandage and meet it head on. I believe Mulkey, LSU administration, and her lawyers mulled this over before reaching this decision. This was not a "knee jerk" reaction.

That’s a fact, plain and simple. Why did the thread from yesterday get the anchor? TigerDroppings isn’t Reddit. I guess anchoring a thread is better than deleting it all together because someone’s feelings couldn’t handle it.

The stupid part is that the whole incident was over her NOT saying something the media thought she should say during active hostage negotiations to get Griner home

I'm not afraid of shite. What do YOU think might come out? A story where Mulkey is portrayed as a racist and a homophobe? That's almost boring now.

I can promise she didn't let loose with the "n" word. So what could this "new information" be? And why has this guy been pestering the shite out of everyone for 2 years about it?

2 years ago was the time Griner was detained. Not saying that’s it but would not be surprised.

How many times have you read or listened to a story from a national media source or non-specialized reporter about something you were intimately familiar with? For each of these instances, how many times did you think, “The author is completely wrong about 4/5 things described here”?

Because my answer is every time.

The thing with Griner is hilarious to me because the only reason they care so much about that is because she’s black and gay. If Van Lith did the same thing two years from now, they couldn’t care less what her reaction (or non-reaction) would be.

At a private baptist university that requires a religion/choir class be taken each semester by all students? Probably good advice to maintain enrollment.

That's not a new revelation. It's been out there for a while.

Woodward is far too weak and afraid of his own shadow to do anything to Mulkey.

Isn’t he still hiding under his desk from the NCAA?

If it was, they wouldn't have sat on it for so long.

2 YEARS he has supposedly been working on this. If he had the money-shot, he would have spilled it.

Do you want everyone who doesn’t share your political opinions fired, or do you want a little more aggressive and have them all just murdered?

I mean, it depends on who they work for.

Guilbeau is still employed because he works for that shitty Outkick website.

You wouldn't see Rabalais pulling stunts like this.

I love how defensive the media gets when someone calls them on their BS. Right now the narrative in the press, summed up beautifully by you know who in a column, is "how dare she scoop us!" It's like they feel entitled to have their say first before their target has a chance to respond.
