Wade is not a great coach, he’s just a good coach that can recruit great talent. Wade doesn’t deserve a raise until his coaching improves.

Well, perhaps stop making shite threads then???

Honestly, Mulkey is one of the greatest women's basketball coaches to ever coach the game. Do you really think that people believe Wade is better than one of the greatest of all time?

Why the hell was this thread needed? What are you hoping to accomplish?

Well, she is in her 22nd year as a coach while Wade is just in his 9th, so I would hope so.

I don't necessarily think coaches should be compared, but to be fair, CKM won her first natty 16 years ago (in her 6th year as HC).

I agree that she is the best coach on campus at this moment in time. She is head and shoulders better than Wade IMHO.

Things that are probably true but make no sense to talk about for 1000, Alex.

Maybe

Mostly far less competition in the women’s game

Good coach no doubt

Men’s SEC basketball most competitive in the nation

Yes. Furthermore Dale Brown won his first natty when he was in his, oh wait, never mind. Btw, did you ever reply just what your point was anyhow?

Why do people take out half of a head coach’s duties and dismiss them to help push their point?

Wade has flaws but Wade is a really good coach with the chance to end up being great.

Thank you for posting this. Wade’s cheerios keep offering excuses for him. I just want to see him coach better than he has before giving him a raise.

How can anyone upvote this? Do you know the talent gap in men’s basketball vs women’s basketball. Every team in SEC men’s can win a game on a given night. Women’s is not even close to the same playing field.

It is mind boggling some of you people a) forget where our program was 5 years ago b) how horrible your analogies are and c) that you come out to bash a coach when we are 15-2

I don't don't think its a melt for losing a game. Fans have watched this team play game after game with no ability to run offense in a half-court set. Even the commentators mention it throughout the games.

WW can recruit undoubtedly but his coaching is underwhelming. Not a single player on this team can post-up. They struggle with simple things like inbounding the ball under pressure. Their athleticism will only get them so far.

I honestly don't know if WW is the issue OR if this team just doesn't have an understanding of the offense. Either way, they play very undisciplined.

She is an excellent coach and one of the best ever. Only one other living Div. I coach has more national titles than her.

With that said, I think winning a men's national championship is much harder with one-and-done recruits or guys leaving after a few years, etc.
