State hasn’t had as many 5 star recruits in the past 20 years combined as we have on the team today. That’s how bad we sucked Saturday.

The only one I would say is incorrect is #2. They had their share of guys sucking wind. But on 1,3 and 4 I see no issue.

The celebration in the State camp has indeed been something else. No offense, but you guys just looked terrible. That was most of it.

"State was in better physical condition than LSU"
No they were just more physical and played aggressive. Huge difference between out of shape and playing timid.

More power to them. We are the defending National Champ and they came to Tiger Stadium and flat embarrassed us on CBS. We did look terrible, but some of that was due to State and what wasn't isn't their problem. No one here "likes" it,but I don't fault them for a second.

State graduated 27
If 27 of your football players graduate that means you had a bad team last year.

Stingley was out and it was Ricks 1st game who by the end of it had a pick that could have turned the game around. Ward and Evans were not even 4 stars. That is where they won the game.

Expound? As in this season or as a program?

Just thought they did not appear to have an identity or on field leadership.
Just like your fans, baffled that they did not even try something else on defense.
State had 10 real rushing attempts for 49 yards (-40 in sacks). The reason was because LSU gave State everything they wanted in the passing game. No reason to run even though the plan called for more rushing attempts.

LSU fielded 2 returning starters on offense and 1 on Defense
MSU fieled 6 and 5 plus added a grad transfer QB...
and we still should have beat their arse.

O.K.....what's the problem? He's right.

This is what happens when you lose to a team that you feel you should beat, you have to just take the "shite talking", that's the way it goes. LSU's defense really lost this game though, there is no way in hell you give up over 600 yards in passing, the pass defense was awful. As good as Burrow was last season I don't think he threw for over 600 yards. Lol Corey Raymond needs to work the hell out of these kids and get them to turn their damn heads around as well by running the type of drills to get them to. As for Bo Pelini, dude has his work cut out for him, the DLine didn't play well and the LB'ers as well. People can say what they want about Aranda, but he didn't look that bad, and his defense last season played bad to start the season off. Here's to hoping things improve much better!

Im not going to defend LSU in any way, but I do think it’s worth noting that replacing graduated players is not nearly as difficult as replacing those that leave early or opt out.
Guys that fall in the left early category are your better players and have likely started within a year of being on campus. This does not allow you time to groom a replacement or multiple recruitment classes to give you options, esp when and if you get inevitable busts in the class.
I don’t need a statistician to tell me that LSU leads the nation in early departures to the draft

Two lost two defensive starters to Florida State and an offensive starter to Florida. They also had their top CB quit right before they broke for camp.
They returned 4 defensive and 4 offensive starters from last year when we played them so they lost a fair share of players.
However they are not being honest when you look at who started for them this past weekend given a lot of them were highly recruited kids also just young like we are.
