Coach Wade under the Bus after the boys captured victory....Your statement implies Coach Wade is acting like a stubborn 15 year old. We know this is not true.
You made the situation worse which is unforgivable...especially since you're in charge of all LSU sports and everything that comes with it.
Basically, you implied you know less than the fans which is very difficult to accept as true but worse it's troubling you wouldn't know more...(behind the scenes)

Can someone tell me when and where this interview with Alleva took place? Was he approached by reporters after the game? Or was he at the post game interview Fielding questions?

I mean does it really matter? He HAS to know a reporter will ask otherwise they arent doing their job. He has to prepare a better answer than that that he can recite immediately. Hell I could do it off the cuff better but whatever. If that was his prepared statement

If it was at the post game interviews, then my follow up would be if it's common for AD's to do this for the NCAA tourney (I've never seen it, but maybe I just don't pay attention). In this case, he directly inserted himself into the situation, knowing that he would field questions about Wade.
If it was just an on the record interview, in crossing with a reporter, it doesn't look AS bad. He still should have declined comment, if this was the case.
But if it were scenario one, and AD's don't commonly interview after their teams games, then it takes it to a whole different level in my eyes.

When the quotes were released I thought there was no possible way they could be real. Absolutely absurd quotes and timing from someone who is supposed to be the leader of LSU athletics. The last thing the team needs is their AD publicly bashing a coach they love.

This guy is way over his head, he had the Duke AD job with Coach K as Head BB coach? And he screwed that up.
Anytime any pressure is on this guy, he stumbles around and is pathetic. Just like a football team needs a QB that has "it", a top school needs an AD that "gets" it. Bozo doesnt get it and never will get it. He is a bureaucrat; not a leader of men.
