re: Most unlikely place you have received a "Geaux Tigers"

last year in an ohio air port a week before the NC. i was re-routed coming back from new york and went through ohio and intentionally changed into a purple LSU t-shirt expecting to get some reactions(which i did) and i just so happened to get a "geaux tigers" from a guy with an LSU hat on.

Yesterday I was walking around the Fort Worth Rodeo and Livestock show and as I was walking by these three guys, one of them let's out a loud Geaux Tigers.

Nice guy who lives in Lewisville, Texas, graduated from LSU in 89.

Whenever I travel, I wear LSU attire -- a shirt, a hat or something. I get "Geaux Tigers" in airports all over the country. I've heard it in DFW, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Las Vegas, but the best one was arriving in Honolulu last summer.

We got off the plane, got our luggage and went to get the rental car. We are trying to figure out where we meet the shuttle, when the airport employee tells me "Geaux Tigers." Come to find out he was from Slidell or Covington or somewhere like that. We talked for a few minutes and he told us where to wait for the shuttle. He came out a few minutes later and gave me some LSU souvenirs: A nice pen, keyholder, and some other stuff. It was cool that he spreads the love even in Hawaii!

In Mobile...two years ago...now that's not unusual given there's a lot of Tigers here.

But while standing watching a Christmas parade and hearing a lot of misguided remarks from Bama riders...got a Geaux Tigers from the man himself...the original St Nick when he passed on his float!!
