We had a official Alumni group with crawfish boils going for a few years. It grew to just anyone with a connection to LSU or Louisiana. Someone new took over and one of the last events was sadly the 2009 championship watch party.

Woah UMD skated 5 of 6 fr freshman and lost Adam Johnson in July. This team grew a ton since January and won 8 of last 9 vs North Dakota and last 8 vs Gophers. Lost a ton from last year, this season was a big surprise. Sandelin was clear coach if the year. Duluth is crazy tonight!!!!!...

UMD beat North Dakota all five times they played this year, but I was very happy they didn't have to play them again. No way a team could go 6-0 against them. Should be a great Frozen Four. We do have some Alumni here in Minnesota. I attended crawfish boils and football game watch parties in 2009 and 2010. Im not sure what happened with the leaders of the group but leadership changed in 2011 and the group has not met since.

I actually attended the Twin Cities LSU Alumni crawfish boil twice but that was a few years ago. I contacted the email on the LSU Alumni website for Minnesota and they are looking for someone to start it up again. Sadly the last event was for BCS Title game , which had about 50 people there.

We have had watch parties at different places so far this season. I haven't heard anything about an event for this game. All the SEC games usually have one. Last week it was at Ryan's Pub.

I don't think Minnesota Duluth will be back in the frozen four but are on a great run right now. I really enjoy going to games there especially in the new arena.
I been following the bulldogs as much as LSU baseball since moving there 3 years ago. I wish u would have started following college hoc...
