Brock Huard the announcer mentioned live he asked O about the offense and O said he wanted a Brady system. Brock chuckled wnd then stated he asked O what does that mean? The guy was only here for 1 season. O then told him well we want to be up tempo, spread out. Brock then laughed again and stated that's not really a system or identity.

It took a color announcer to actually press O on something most of us realize. Our media is a joke for never pressing.

O is living in 2019 instead of developing a system to adapt to any game/season.

O also stated after the game Peetz was "off" that's why we took almost 40 seconds a game. So there we have a brand new oc that's fricking off in his first game. Totally tells me our coaches aren't even prepared.

O is just throwing darts at a dartboard on everything he does. Dude is only as good as the coordinators he surrounds himself with. That much is crystal clear. He just struck gold in 2019

What an embarrassment. Things are going to get so much worse before they get any better.

I am probably in the minority. I am TIRED of hearing about the Brady system. It was great cause he had a ridiculous QB and WRs...Move on.

This has been the issue since day one of the coach o experiment. It’s not sustainable . Good coordinators move on. Bad ones get fired. So you’re always learning a new system on both sides of the ball. And the players are never comfortable in what they’re supposed to be doing.

Well yes, but it also was a system that played to its player’s strengths, and attacked opponents’ weaknesses.

The OP is right in that O has no idea what he wants, other than “be good”.

We’ve only got about 9 more games and this experiment will be over

He's D Line Coach who blew smoke up the right peoples arse. Orgeron found plenty of Rubes at LSU, and Louisiana in general, willing to accept the con.

The ceo model will never work. It's a failed experiment.

Pittman is a an Oline coach by trade but good recruiter he will fail
Cristobal same thing. He has Oregon money but other than that just like O all hype man.

Dabo is the only successfull because he has a tenured top 5 DC that is going nowhere. No other team will get that luxury.

Couldn’t agree more. O is a funny guy and he loves LSU but frick so am I and I know I couldn’t be the coach. I’m really over these animated coaches that are way better cheerleaders than actual coaches.

"I want that system that made everyone think I was the 3rd best coach in the country behind Saban and Dabo".

Many coaches say that alll the time. Brock being a prick as usual. But O needs to do some Ffkin daily affirmations or something. Get some analysts to guide the young cords. He chased 2019 by hiring deciples of arandA and Brady play calling exp be damned

Other than the coaches and the players, I thought LSU was pretty good last night.

You know what is the opposite of the 2019 offense…..looking over to the sideline and running the play clock down to 2 every snap. So much for tempo.

Peetz was “Pass Happy” & didn’t try to run the ball from the jump. And YES the O-Line was abhorrent all night, especially run-blocking BUT even if you don’t gain much positive yardage you still HAVE TO mix in some runs early to force the opponents DC to account for a running play. Peetz failed to do this BIGLY!
