Bluegrass Miracle or ''The Catch" against AU in '07, just off the top of my head.

I think the Keiland Wiliams hurdle play vs VT was pretty impressive and hasn't been mentioned

Skylar Green catching the TD pass in the north end zone against Georgia in '03. Most spectacular to me because it was fricking insane to be in that stadium when it happened.

My answer for ANY best game, play, atmosphere, etc.

Exactly. Anybody that doesn't do that, either missed that game in person, or is a brand new LSU fan. Because anyone that was there that day experienced a special day in the history of LSU. I don't know if the atmosphere will ever be like that - all the stars were aligned, ESPN was there on the national stage, LSU was getting shunned with UGA getting all the love, etc. etc. It was a perfect set up. And the Green TD was really a screw up because Green ran the wrong route, but Mauck had the brains and eyes to spot him and think on the fly, and threw the ball to him.

have you ever seen Cannon's run? 7 or 8 people had a shot at him, it went 89 yards back the other way

I was there - in the north end zone. I could not see just how many players had a legitimate shot at him, but it was spectacular - seeing that whole mass of players moving toward me and finally dissipating to just Cannon.

After seeing the replay shot from the side, it was even more impressive.

Has to be most spectacular run in a meaningful game against a quality opponent - LSU and Ol Miss were both top 3 teams.

Overtime game against Tenn in 2000. Sabans first year. Tenn passes on their last chance only to have it tipped away for an LSU win. People rushing the field as the play is going on... it was spectacular in my book.

We lost to UAB the next week I think...

Have to put JLee connecting with TT80 on 4th and 14 to keep the Tennessee game alive. I thought we were done when this came up.

Also, the backwards bounce pass against Florida on the fake FG. I went nuts.

if you have to pick one (which is an inane exercise to me), you have to pick billy cannons run. it meant a hell of a lot more to the team, the season and the program than any other play ever. warren morris' HR to beat Miami would be the baseball equivilant.
