Maybe it's just college memories, but I tend to agree.
I don't recall feeling that level of intensity for any other game I've been to or seen in person.

I'll never forget the quote by Brad Budde, USC's 79' tight end after that game he said: "Playing Tiger stadium made playing at Notre Dame seem like "Romper Room" Man, those were the days. Tiger Stadium rocked!

They came in #1 IIRC, and we were not very good at all. Even though we ended up losing, that blocked FG to send it to overtime still gives me chills.
