Good ones! Faulk was the ONLY reason we won that game against Houston. I was camping out under the stars on Lake Somerville w my lovely girlfriend (soon to be wife) in Texas and that was a crazy 4th qtr! Faulk's punt return for TD will always be one of my best memories as a Tiger fan. You have to take into account how close the games were in my opinion. Burrow's performance against OU was incredible but it was a blowout. Still worthy of mentioning. Good stuff!

was at that game, he had to sit out the first half for disciplinary reasons(think he got in a fight with a cop in Carencro, iirc,) we got way down to a shitty team and he single handedly brought us back to win that one, one of the few highlights/fun games during a pretty bleak time in LSU fb

Undoubtedly Josh Reed (with Rohan).
Everybody knew it was coming and they still couldn’t stop it.

This game was incredible. The Honey Badger - arguably the best best skilled defensive player of all time lb for lb speed for speed.
Instinctively, he's the best Ive seen in CFB.

Cecil Collins vs. Auburn

Cecil the Diesel vs Auburn in ‘97 not ‘98
He also had a pretty good game against State in ‘97.
He scored on a 60 yd run with one shoe on in that game.

Almost every game TM7 played. Same with Burrow in 2019.

As good as Cannon was vs. Ole Miss, I'm not sure where I'd rank it on a list of "dominant" performances. He had 150 All-Purpose Yards that game, and the box score has him with 4 Punts (41.8 Yard Average).
Ole Miss was one of the top teams in CFB in 1959, so just from what we know, I'd rank that performance high on a list of "best individual performances". But not as high on a list of "most dominant". There's a difference here that some people are missing. Dominance is about playing at a much higher level than your opponent. So as an example from 2019, CEH vs. Arkansas was more dominant than CEH vs. Alabama. The game vs. Alabama was better overall because the opponent was much better. But the game vs. Arkansas was so dominant that it wasn't even really competitive. I think you also have to contextualize the opponent in any kind of ranking, but it has to be well above the level of play of the opponent to truly be a "dominant" performance.
I'd rank 2019 Burrow vs. Oklahoma as the most dominant. That was such a dominant performance that the game was essentially over in the first half. I'd probably put 2001 Davey vs. Alabama 2nd.
Some more games from days of yore:
1943 - Steve Van Buren vs. Georgia - 228 All-Purpose Yards, 3 TDs; 19 Pass Yards; 8 Punts, 217 Yards; 2 PAT Kicks
1943 - Steve Van Buren vs. Georgia - 202 All-Purpose Yards, 3 TDs; 35 Pass Yards; 5 Punts, 235 Yards; 4 PAT Kicks
1937 - Pinky Rohm vs. Texas - 162 All-Purpose Yards, 1 TD; 10 Punts, 398 Yards
1937 - Young Bussey vs. Florida - 77 Rushing Yards, 2 TDs; 77 Pass Yards; 58 PR Yards; 3 Punts 77 Yards; 1 PAT Kick

Came here to post this. It felt like he was everywhere in that game. He set the tone for that whole season IMO.

You could throw in Honey Badger vs Ar-Kansas in 2011. He pretty much beat them by himself.

The game Cecil Collins had against Auburn & Mississippi St. in 97. The AU game was one of the most dominant games I’ve seen. Wanted to post the video but couldn’t find it.
If someone knows where it is please post.
Love the Burrow, Fournette, and Josh Reed choices, but this one is a favorite of mine. Tragic story of his life, but that one night he was unstoppable.

Really hard to compare.
RB's v QBs v DBs v DL v WRs.
Even when you try apples to apples, its hard. Consider:
Josh Reed v Ala.: 19 catches, 293 yds 3TDs 3 fumbles (two lost)
Carlos Carson v Rice 5 catches, 201 yds 5 TDS,
Carson avgd. over 40 yds AND 6 points PER TOUCH.
But Reed caught 19 passes and it was against Alabama, not Rice.

Some may not agree but Dalton Hilliards performance at FLA in 1982 was pretty badass….

I think they ran the same play over and over. Reed out shake and go.
