Most disappointing part of Brennan's performance yesterday?

Body language for me. He looked defeated out there early and I think it translated to the entire team.

Lack of pocket awareness he rolled into pressure a ton.

That laser of an arm delivering nothing but underthrown balls all day. And his decision making and pocket awareness made me forget he wasn't a true freshman.

It is disappointing. Inexcusable that a QB with hardly any real game experience, can’t perform like a veteran who’s played in a lot of meaningful game’s and has good game experience. He looked like a QB who is getting his first does of real game experience. Joe didn’t look like the Joe we ended up knowing after that Miami game

He’s a spoiled rich kid who didn’t even earn his starting spot

I made no comment on his performance dipshit. I criticized his body language. Thats something you cant defend

Where was the zip in his passes that we have seen in previous seasons?
To me, that was the obvious sign that he just wasn’t comfortable and lacked confidence.
He was scared.

We may be seeing Johnson sooner than later.

His spirals were not tight.
Deep balls under thrown.
Lack of pocket presence.
Unwilling to anticipate routes.
Lack of foot speed removed RPO.
Sad performance for someone in the LSU system for so long. He opened up a QB competition.
And the yardage / stat people. We lost the only stat that counts.

The word was literally in your thread title. Dipshit.

I’m not defending his body language, but what else did you expect out of a QB who hadn’t played a meaningful snap since 2017, along with a new offense, when it boils down to “body language”. We weren’t going to get the body language of a veteran yesterday that’s all I know

Lack of poise and confidence.

Just because the guy is a Senior doesn't mean he should be automatically given the job. It's not Brennan's fault. The Coach's, per usual at LSU, haven't developed a replacement for Burrow. There should be a redshirt Sophomore pushing Brennan or beating Brennan out. There isn't and we're fricked.

To me it was his progressions.
We were running many of the same plays from last year, but he was constantly making mistakes like he had never done it before.
Like on the TD pass where Gilbert bailed him out. We ran that play all the time last year. The ball always goes back to the left. So why the frick was he looking right the entire time?
