It's crazy that we've gotten to the point that we are likely to lose a solid QB prospect because our QB room has so much talent.

Bad take. TJ is not a QB. He’s a big guy with a strong arm. I could care less about Max’s background... what they do on the field is what matters.

TJ was a true FR who stepped in on the 4th game of the season with minimal reps with the starters. He showed promise, but also struggled. Maybe he doesn't develop. Maybe he uses his physical talent to become a great QB. No one knows at this point. To project his career success based off of last season is ridiculous.

Mild devil's advocate here.

He’s 3rd on the depth chart right now, and could be passed up by Nuss, if the kid is as good as advertised.

There is no depth chart.

Brennan has the most experience

I think TJ might have the most starts in the QB room atm.

Brennan is panicky in the pocket it's like his time clock is going to fast. Max on the other is cool and calm while going through his progressions.

I really don’t know if Nuss will be here long. He seems like a great ambassador for the program, but I just don’t see a scenario where he is better than Johnson and Walker Howard. I think some fellow ranters have just created the narrative that he’s the next best thing because he seems likable.

My scenario is that Brennan starts 2021 is successful. Then he starts in 2022 or transfers as a graduate because Johnson is comin' and starts two years starting 2022 midseason. TJ and Nuss are odd men out and get skipped over. Then Howard will sit the bench as a freshman (while Johnson starts) then plays 2-3 years as starter.

Kind of an obvious take

Unless Myles develops scrambling abilities he’s done , the offense needs a defense to respect a QB ability to run

Brennan is not why we lost games. He scored more than enough points to win the games we lost. The D was horrible when he played. The D was a little better the 2nd half of the season.

If the defense had made a few stops, moretime for our offense, there is no telling how many points the team would have scored with Brennan. Could have approached Burrow numbers.
