You're right. When you're running a bland offense like LSU is running right now, talent gets wasted anyway so what's the difference?

Even if we were running the most exciting offense ever none of those guys would be playing.

If Mett gets hurt, I think there's a chance you would find that not to be true.

Rivers was the back-up all last year, dont see that changing. So now we are talking about 3rd string QB. If either Bolden and Randall were viewed as capable 3rd strigners, then why would the coaching staff actively recruit 2 QBs this class.

From what I have seen of Retting and Jennings, they are more than capable of being 3rd stringers; granted they are freshman, they are both pretty talented.

But they said he would "never" play.

He could be insurance for next year too...

But he wants to go to a school where he can play so best of luck to him.

That's definitely possible. Transfers do happen every year. But I think in an offense with a little more creativity I could have plugged in Bolden or Randall and got two yards on a play or two. It might have come in handy a few times this year... I'm just bitter - ignore me.

From what I saw of Randall, he is as talented. There could be other reasons he isn't climbing the depth chart.

Yep, can't blame them, but wish they would all stay in Louisiana to play...

we have not even tried him.

We? You get a vote? I guessing the coaches tried him 100's of times. That's one of the things practice is for. You seem to think we should have wasted valuable game snaps on our third string QB. Who cares that he was rated above Manziel? Jalen Mills was ranked behind Dwayne Thomas. Should we have played Thomas instead of Mills? Should we just let Rivals pick our lineup?

Armand Williams is not leaving LSU. He loves LSU and he is determined to complete his degree in Business. He is on track for early graduation. He continues to work hard at school and football every day.

And he had a 63 inch vertical. Right?

I hate to lose Randall, if given a chance he might have beaten out Mett!

Has he straightened out his accuracy problems? If not, I don't see a way for him to displace Mett as the starter.

I don't see that tweet on this feed. Perhaps he removed it.

But even if it is there and I am missing it, don't you think he might be a little bitter about younger kids coming in and taking his spot. I would think hes a little bitter about not being good enough to start in 2013 and transfers to Tulane.

This. He will be a huge part of our RBs the next 2 years.

No he wont. He will be backing up blue and hill next yr. Then Fournette comes in and likely starts right when he steps foot on campus.

Old news brah.

The only way they were going to start is by transferring. It happens every year.

considering we needed 3-4 more guys gone even with all the srs and jrs leaving for the nfl, i dont see it as a big deal. This class we have coming in is sick, they will be hungry along with the 15 frosh that played this year.

Luke Muncie, Armand Williams, Nick Jacobs, Jerrard Randall and Rob Bolden all rumored to be leaving as well.

Dwayne Thomas was also rumored to be considering a transfer. Hasn't sought leave, yet, though.

whoah, after our fans booed Jordan Jefferson and thought any black qb is just going to be a running qb and miles would shove the option down our throats until we liked it. Remember when bolden transfered? Fans on here actually thought mett was going to be phased out and miles got his JJ. 3 games in they wanted him starting over mett. OUR FANS ARE frickING STUPID!
