To be called a band you must play music and what comes out of Southern is NOISE. They can dance and entertain but playing music, they have nothing on LSU. Listen to them carefully and all you hear is screeching sounds. Almost sounds like they are all out of tune. LSU is way better

So awesome that LSU now plays neck. The funny part is the tiger band is playing neck when they are down by 20 points. I guess that is what happens when you don't know the true intent behind the music HBCU's have been playing for years. That was truly hysterical and sad at the same time.

you do realize that the saints dont pay us enough to cover the cost of bringing our band down there for half time... we simply request to much money... and as for southern their band is good at what they do ... but if you would know anything about true marching band competition not this stupid shite those bands do you would realize you are a fricktard... honestly ... musicaly not even close... marching style traditional and clean - LSU sloppy and organized - SU that also goes for body position... you could take the people left over from LSU's final cuts ( those that were not good enough) and you could make a better band than southern... have you ever watched that stupid battle of the bands they do with grambling every year., it is a damn joke.. if we looked that sloppy at practice we would get our asses chewed out.... I respect southerns band for what they do but they are not a true quality program

LSU bandies really came out swinging on this one. Big talk considering our band performed the same Latin music tribute at almost 50% of its half times last year and rarely performs music made after 1993 at games. Just saying. Two different styles but Southern more entertaining IMO.

Actually it was 30% and the show was to a different side each time, and a new song was added the second time. The other game was Atlanta. I'm sorry, but maybe you can write the band a letter and they will play "Jesse McCartney" for you to get off to. It's your opinion to like Southern more so I respect it. But as a suggestion, if you like shitty "music" that is way out of tune I think Paris Hilton has a CD.
