We also had 2 goaline stands with a total of 2 plays in between them that played a major part in winning the game. But he just happened to forget that part.

LSU averaged more points and finished 37th while Texas finished 48th....and Texas played against Big 12 defenses while we played at least 6 top 25 defenses.

We had 7 possessions start at the 25 and finished 1 point higher in average score per game Come on, man

ETA: Thank god the refs fricked up the A&M game, that gave us an extra 3.15 points per game.

Again nothing you’re saying is factual. You said they had 1 runningback, they had 3. You said they had 1 healthy runningback, they had 3. All the ball carriers in the Texas game carried the ball more times the week prior to LSU. Your narrative is false.

This is a lie. We lead the nation in fewest TDs given up in 2016, with like 16.

You’re saying it. You keep repeating “more aggressive” like it’s some sort of revelation.

The only way to be more aggressive than bringing 4 is the blitz.

Do you think our offense would be better playing against big 12 defenses instead of bama, UF, Miss. St, Aub, and UGA?

the coaches have said it...and you're bitching at me? I guess you must be pissed that the coaches have pretty said exactly what I am saying.

You know how many SEC DCs have given up fewer points since Aranda arrived in Baton Rouge? 2 so go find another DC who can do that and who can give up fewer than 20ppg for their entire career. Guess what there are none available.

3 or 4 since he’s been here. We’ve had 3 defensive first round picks since he arrived and zero Dlineman.

Yeah man. Everyone loves to say what they should have done.

At least you admit you don’t have anything useful to say. You just post what the coaches already told us.

Not many but there is an argument that we lack elite talent on the line.

2nd 15.8 ppg in 2016 and he’s 3rd since he arrived at LSU. So he’s been 2 spots ahead of where he should be.

At the beginning of this season, we had the "negatigers" bemoaning Coach O, now they can't complain about him too much they are attacking Aranda. So now what are we gonna call the "A" haters? "A" holes???

chavis's last year and how much better we were statistically then

No we weren't. Lost 34-29 to Miss St at home; defense (particularly run defense) was shredded; lost 7-41 @ Auburn, giving up 500+ yards; lost to Notre Dame in the Music City bowl; 3rd and Chavis snatched defeat from the jaws of victory vs. Alabama. Sure we won @ A&M that year, but only because of an offsides that wasn't called.

The 2014 defense sucked when it mattered.

what do you offer to this board? I said this before the coaches did...unlike the idiots defending the defense with every excuse imaginable I know what we could have done to perform better. Yall just sit there and go they were just too good...31 points was inevitable bc DA is the best DC in the country

There was this article from August that was somewhat critical of Aranda. link I didnt realize the last time we finished number 1 in the SEC in any defensive statistic was 2014, chavis's last year and how much better we were statistically then.

2014 under Chavis
Vs Miss St 34 points 570 yards
Vs Auburn 41 points 566 yards
Vs ND 31 points 449 yards

Who cares if they finish #1 in one category in the SEC? LSU's defense in 2016 finished 5th in the country in scoring D and 10th in the country in total D. They gave up the least amount of TDs by anybody in the country. We were 12th in 3rd downs converted, and tied for 9th in first downs given up.

Here’s a little homework assignment. Go dog up Aranda vs Venables career defensive stats and see who’s better. I’ll bet money you don’t come back and post them.

Btw I had forgot about Miss. St. that’s why I edited dumbass
