Error by SEC or is Jay trying it one more time?

Jay trotting Money out there another week, would be a major mistake. Money hasn’t pitched great in like 2 months. I’m not shitting on Money, it’s just the truth. This isn’t frick around time, we need to try and take both series against Ole Miss and Vandy.

In Jay I trust but I’m astounded if he’s planning on having Money take the hill on Saturday.

I'm hoping it's Floyd. That would make the most sense.

Money went 1.2 innings with 3Ks and no baserunners against mighty Southeastern. That's not enough to get a start after the last several weeks.

Money starting with a quick hook isn’t very different than starting someone else. He’s proven he is willing to go get him early.

Losing Javon Coleman probably cost us a Super.

It's a good relief appearance, but yeah, nothing for a starter in SEC play.

I kind of felt like he'd stay with Money after they had that moment on the mound this week. Jay seemed happy with him, and Money walked off saying "I'm back".

I don't hate the decision. Not sure it's the right decision, but Money's ceiling is pretty high. Most other options are maybe going to give you 3-4 on a great day - Money can give you 6-7 on a great day.

There’s nothing about pitching matchups in Bill Franques OM series article so I am thinking that it’s SEC guessing

Pitching matchups are rarely in those. I usually get them elsewhere.

I think the SEC is making an assumption based on past weekends but I do not expect Jay to test that faith this weekend.

That sounds about right. Doesn't Jay have to name a Saturday guy, though, per SEC rules?

No. Its encouraged, but not mandatory. I track this stuff every week, a few teams have posted multiple TBA’s this year.

Last week kentucky TBA’d friday and saturday

Naw, thats some sec site with large assumptions. Each team website usually has their own preview with either game notes or an article that usually posts the pitching matchups. Lsu’s doesnt even list it this week

Exactly.
He needs to enter a game with the bases empty. If you can't count on him to start there is no way you'd want to bring him in with runners on.
He should have the chance to work out of a situation of his own making - at least once - before he's yanked. He may settle and give us 3 or 4 and that would be gravy.
