There were 11 or 12. I lost count. That's not abnormal though.

I’m surprised it was that many.

11 and 12 could be a bloodbath though

with slot value at less than 190K from here on out do you think high schoolers will sign for less than 190K if picked?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. After round 10, the round a HS is drafted doesn't really matter. It's only about what kind of war chest the team has been able to save.

We could lose a commit in any round going forward if the team saved enough elsewhere.

Don't start counting the roster spots yet.

So is it impossible for a team to meet Santerelli’s 3 million dollar number now? Still unclear on the rules.

That’s not how it works, plenty of 7 figure signing bonuses still out there.

Correct. A ton of high school players are about to go off of the board here in 11-20.

A lot of them wont sign, but the ones that do end up signing will be paid out handsomely

Teams that have saved money from rounds 1-10 can add that to the 150k or whatever it is to who they want to sign.

From my understanding, there is no cap at this point. It is all based on how much the teams can save elsewhere. Technically speaking a number of teams could theoretically meet it.

There will also be some dart throw picks on highly rated, undrafted guys. Think Cameron Johnson in 2023. He was drafted in the 20th round with essentially no chance of signing. Seemed like a back up plan in case one of the Cards top picks didn't sign.

Is there a round where people feel comfortable or is this going to be a wait until draft is completely over situation. Seems like the goal post gets moved every round with the “we aren’t out of it yet.”

Rds 11-12 are a little more focused than 13-20. The percentages will go down after 12 but each pick will be a dart throw at that point.

I don’t know if anyone will be willing to pay him that much, or if he’s absolutely stuck to that number.

He still could get taken and sign for 1.5 or something.

I’ve been posting off and on for 3 years now and I’ve come to the conclusion that you could say the sky is blue and would still get downvoted. I guess I missed something along the way?

If a player is selected in next few rounds, there’s an extremely high chance they’re gone. Not signing a pro deal is the extreme exception.

2025 draft numbers below:

ROUND - PLAYER SIGNED / PLAYER SELECTED
11 - 30/30
12 - 28/30
13 - 28/30
14 - 25/30
15 - 29/30
16 - 28/30
17 - 29/30
18 - 25/30
19 - 21/30
20 - 20/30
