Neither. Pretty spot on for what we expected.

The discussion would be, if you add the $20k next year plus this years’s slot of $285k, could you offer him $350k in NIL to stay, making the money alone a wash?

Related to this, does anyone on here actually know what any of our baseball players make in NIL? We know hard numbers for some of the football guys, but I don't know that I've heard what baseball guys are making.

My Luis Hernandez prediction did not come true. I blame Detroit for taking a different Puerto Rican catcher in the 10th.

That sucks. He was going to be Tech’s closer next season

I mean they won't come out and say it, but there are some guys that have had multiple credible insiders say the same numbers. Nuss is getting approximately $1.5 million this year for example.

Most baseball guys are probably making 25-50k, some starters are probably closer to 100k, and those elites like Skenes/Crews were probably closer to 500k

I'm asking if you know this or are you just saying this? What are you basing this off of?

I think i remember hearing someone say that bear got paid 500k to come back and that it was by far more nil than any of our baseball players have ever gotten.

I've repeated this based on the information coming from multiple people but maybe they are like me and repeated what they heard

Corona HS with 3 players in the first round. Must have some damn strong NIL sponsors for that program.

I heard the same thing. Those numbers were being thrown around later in the season by other teams coaches/players to support their BS about LSU buying a team. And it was mostly about Skenes.

I checked Hamilton’s social media awhile back and noticed he really didn’t post much lsu related. Sounds ridiculous but sometimes says a lot about their intentions.

Damn was hoping we could nab 1-2 more pitchers than right now but talk about top heavy talent if we can hold on to the rest.

How good is Zion? Cool name
