Was really hoping we'd get Frey and Shores for another year. But, good for them. Wish them well.

Only people who don’t understand the draft process with money thought Shores and Frey were back. Both have two rings. Literally no reason to come back to campus. None.

Frey was hotter than Georgia Asphalt at the end of the year, and Shores hits 100 mph quicker than my Father's Gran Torino. I had a bad feeling both were gone, not as early, but I didn't think either would be returning.

How do our commit rankings stack up against last years at this time? I couldn't find the thread with our freshman rankings/projections from LY going into the draft.

We are solid up the middle. We are solid on the mound. The foundation is there for a repeat. Going to have plenty of LHP. Need to find power somewhere.

Totally agree that neither of these guys would be back. The draft process is incredibly confusing then throw in the money aspect and it is mind boggling. After trying to figure it out I decided I really have no reason to want to understand it. I can just watch the games snd enjoy them.

It's not all that complicated. It's just different from other drafts that people are used to.

Jones could own all-time LSU records if he comes back; that’s a lot to come back for depending on how far he slides and if the money sucks. He may need La in life after baseball if he doesn’t learn how to see off-speed pitches with the quickness.

You have to think that there was NIL room cleared up last night with some of the guys drafted. I know none of the guys being drafted was a surprise, but there could have been money allocated to, say, both Moss and Frey, that becomes available to throw at Jones.
