Admins are alseep at the wheel. I'm dissapointed.
I asked thunder if he needed me to make a thread but he told me he would do it.

Getting someone like Chinea back would be huge for leadership and a great bat.

I thought about just starting another one, but I figured an admin could update the OP with my post if needed.

It'd be nice, but I don't see it happening. Think he comes off the board fairly soon.

Fingers crossed for Chinea and Laird to return...
Them and Fraley would give us at least a little veteran leadership.

I tend to agree. I think laird is our best shot.

Sorry I've been ridiculously busy at work today, I will update as soon as I can in a bit.

If they get anything over 200k or so, they should probably take it and run.

Jared Foster went from a preseason role player to a starting 2B and HR hitter in the SEC.
Now he gets drafted in the 5th Round! That is amazing folks! I think he deserves a huge round of applause!
Mark Laird I though was going to be taken by now due mainly to his size and speed. He isn't going to have a career hitting baseballs at that level but a pinch runner/singles hitter, yes indeed.

Laird is someone I expect back honestly, Chinea also...

Maybe what McKay said to the MLB teams is coming true. They have left him alone so far. Man if this kid indeed comes here we will be freaking stacked at pitcher. If Latz comes back to form, wow

Our pitching staff could be nasty, but we're taking a big hit in our lineup. Crazy to think that Fraley is the only starter we know will be back. I'm hoping Laird and Chinea stay, at least.

Yeah was wondering the same thing, he's 6'1-6'2 but about 170ish maybe with cleats and full uniform on and a slap hitter with zero power potential. Stevenson was just a much better overall prospect.

word around monroe is that it would take a good bit of money for laird to go. his dad does very well for himself. mark is intelligent with good grades and wants his degree. He is majoring in Agriculture Business where he can easily come up here and make a lot of money.
bottom line is that his degree is worth more to him in 4 years than 300k

yeah I've heard the exact same thing
he wants his degree but I'm sure there's a number for him and it's not like he comes from a poor family
