Vandy's whole team getting drafted? That was their 7th current player that just got drafted.
Perhaps, but the rich get either when it comes to their recruiting class. If I'm not mistaken, as of last night, Vanderbilt and UCLA both have top 75 players that are still in drafted. It amazes me that those schools continuously get such highly rated guys to campus.

I was joking yesterday they'll still somehow get one of their 1st or 2nd rounders to come to school because that's just what they do. How they get kids to turn down millions is beyond me.

They recruit kids from rich families and have a proven track record of not ruining kids.

Vandy has at least 3 signees that are ranked in the top 100 of draft eligible prospects and we're not selected in the first 10 rounds. 2 pitchers and a shortstop.

It is insane, but it happens every year. We're stoked about McKay, and they're going to bring in three kids that are rated even higher.
Hell, one of the guys is ranked #21. Very impressive.

Any of 3 players on page 1 now drafted, outside of McKay? Anyone know w/o having to plow through pages?

We havent had anyone drafted, player or signee since Chinea in the 17th round

The Vandy players are going to get a $200k education for free; none of the other SEC teams can compete with that and I'm super envious of their ability to do that.

Cole McKay in the 30th to Detroit.

Also looks like Steven Sensely from LSU-E hasnt gone drafted, unreal ULL will end up with Stefon Trosclair and Steven Sensley in back to back years from LSU-E

Trosclair had an awful regional
Still don't know how Vandy is pulling in some of these top recruits

Chinea is the big question mark, I dont think he'll know for a while unless he's deadset on coming back.
From what I hear he's gone

Added to OP, nothing to worry about here.

So did Bregman, Trosclair still hit like .350 this year with what, 16-17 HRs?

You had to figure someone would take a flyer on him eventually. Good chance he ends up here, barring any Mac Marshall-style shenanigans.

Florida was able to sign a couple of first rounders too at one point, but then Whitson got hurt and went from 1st round and Millions to a few hundred thousand.

They can piece together full scholarships that public schools can't; it's much easier to qualify for a 55k scholarship than a 18k scholarship from a needs vantage.
Edit: TCU and Stanford can do the same; amazes me that Stanford isn't competing for championships every year as they once were. Has KP talked about the drop off at all on ESPN I wonder?

Yeah but Vandy's guys aren't even getting drafted. That's alot different than a guy failing to sign.
