I'm on the fence about this. I hate that we get piped in music and keep losing song because the students have potty mouths, but in the flip side I can't help but blame STTDB on the overreaction by the administration when they banned Tiger Rag. It was like throwing gas on a fire.

3/4 of the students stay. It's the sorority and fraternity sections that clear out early.

Last year a Zou Crew came to the PMAC. Now, there's an Antlers.
The Zou Crew is their student section. The Antlers is a much smaller 20-30 person group. It started in the 70's and lives on today.
They didn't eject the whole student section, just 20-30 guys.

I'd have to say, if I was at an LSU game and students started chanting the name of the opposing coach's dead daughter, then the coach would have to get in line behind me to kick someone's arse.
I get STTDB and the other stuff, I can chalk that up to being in college and having a good time. But chanting the name of a dead girl takes the entire fan base down to unfathomable levels.

College is for students, not fans.
LSU and its fans need to calm the f down. I don't know of any college student fanbase that doesn't yell crude things during its songs. My sister went to UT-Austin. During "Texas Fight," the entire crowd, students and all, yell, "Give 'em hell! Give 'em hell! Make 'em eat s***!" You don't see UT trying to ban the band from playing "Texas Fight."
I bet you don't gripe to the Saints' ownership when you take your kid to a Saints game because fans are being crude/cussing the players or the refs/getting drunk there. People get drunk and cuss at football games, especially 21 year old males (Hell, I know some women who scream "Kick their a**" louder than I do on the first down song). Get over yourselves and use the opportunity to have a teachable moment with your kids about whether or not you want them to say those words.
