A month ago I wasn't worried at all. But, albeit against weak opponents, State has looked good. I think we win, but I doubt it's a cakewalk.

Cowbells, huge homefield edge to moo.

Normally its about 3 pts. Its 6 at msu.

Decided by the lsu special teams.
1. Fg
2. Defending the kickoffs

Fg edge to moo.

4th quarter, game in doubt.

maybe for them, but not necessarily for LSU. our championship chances depend on beating auburn and Alabama. if we beat state, bama is where our fate lies. LSU can win the west with one loss as long as that loss isn't bama.

In theory you're correct. As a practical matter though, if we can't beat MSU what chance do we have of beating Bama?

Whoever wrote that article doesn't know the difference between "maintain" and "contain" and it's really annoying.

....Dan Mullen is a good coach. LSU better bring their "A-game". Hey this is the SEC West. Hold them penalties down, and for pete's sake.....DON'T miss them field goals.

Still I believe in my Tigahs!

I've been in the gambling industry for many years. This may be your opinion, but this is not scientific and not a number that handicappers would (or have) ever used.

Yes there are a lot of fans that seem to think the past has something to do with this game. It does not

I don't think anyone is saying that bud.

The fact that LSU has the better coaches and better players at every position (except QB) is why we're confident.

Normally I'd agree with you, but when MSU has 2 wins in the last 25 games there is sure to be a psychological barrier they have to overcome. If things go well for them, they will be waiting for something bad to happen. When it does they could very well let up and give the game away.

If they go 7-5 with a win against Ole Miss they will be dancing in the streets.

No way, not this year. They know they will beat Ole Miss. It was just 3 years ago and they were ranked #1 in the country and beat the living shite out of us in Baton Rouge. They were 10-3, 9-4 and then last yr 6-7, they feel they are much improved over last years team, believe that.
They will be no dancing in the street going 7-5 this yr.

The Tigers will most likely win, if they dont beat themselves, but it will not be easy.

It seems this way every year - MSU loads up against us like it's the Superbowl. For Arky, a lot of times, they want to salvage their season on us.

We take Ole Miss, Bama, Auburn and Florida much, much more seriously year in, year out.

I just hope we come out swinging because Mississippi State could've won the game the past 2 years the way they stormed back

You mean Les Miles and Cam Cameron sat on leads and let it get close at the end?

Damn.

To be fair, they had their best QB ever, we had DJ Welter, and Brandon Harris almost came back to beat them as a true freshmen.

It was 34-29.

Are you assuming that LSU wins this game? Don't get me wrong. I'd love to see a 45-0 beat down, but MSU has a good team.

I am being fair. The final score was not indicative to how they ran rough shot all over us for most of the game in Baton Rouge. What was it 34-10 in the 4th quarter at one point. Maybe I shouldve said manhandled us instead. That was a beat down.
Yes Harris made a remarkable comeback attempt against their 2nd and 3rd string.
Prescott was indeed great. But, they believe they have the best QB in the league this year as well.
Time will tell on that.
But they arent dancing in the streets this yr, if they beat Ole Miss and finish at 7-5, which is the point.
