Y'all know that Jay doesn't like having his starting pitcher start a game with risk of lightning delay and have to pull the pitcher.

Softball start time was originally 5:00. They had already warmed up and field was ready before lightning/rain.
Baseball still has fielding warmups after field is made ready.
