Just doing some scouting, solely by stats from there first 2 games.

It seems that besides their own running game, which is probably around 100 yds/g. There doesn't seem to be anything glaring as a "weakness" yet. Now, they have played 2 not good teams, so their defense and offense of course look great.

Just wondering if anyone has watched them or has any more analysis to put in?

Well, Will Rogers is not Dak Prescott so there’s that.

Mike Leach.
Great innovator, but sometimes too much for his own good.

It's Miss St.! I don't get the love for them...yes we are in a rebuilding year but I still expect to beat them.

We make the tackles on defense and stop the easy throws over the middle we win. Our offense will move the ball and hopefully we can get a running game going with Emery back. If we can't get off the field on third down like FSU we lose.

Their WRs drop a fair amount of passes. OL susceptible to pass rush but it’s negated by their quick timing routes. Their secondary is very solid and the DL while not possessing elite athleticism is strong enough to cause problems. I’m predicting an ugly, low-scoring affair

I'm more worried about poor tackling by the Tigers and not getting off the field on 3rd down.

Nope. I watched every single play front and back. No weaknesses. None. You nailed it.

My biggest concern is Daniels running.

They haven't needed to run the football so far.

The are averaging 385ypg passing: 450 vs Memphis and 315 vs Arizona.

They havent exactly been awful running the ball when they have needed to. They avg 3.5 yards per att

By comparison we have 5.6 yds per att but a large part of that is bouyed by Daniels running the ball. Take his runs out and we are right around a 4 yard average with traditional runs.

With that said, his mobility will be a HUGE advantage for us. The AZ quarterback could have run for huge gains against them but decided to pass and I think he regretted some of those decisions.
