I know Mingeone is a dick to bus drivers, hotel staff, and waitstaff also. He’s not just a douche on the field.

Mainieri called what he did bush league after the game because it was (and against the rules). Base coaches are only allowed to talk to their own players, otherwise it’s supposed to be obstruction

I don’t know how close they actually are. They coached together in a summer league like 20 years ago. I don’t think they hang out or anything

The thought that they were close is merely based on their work history and Jay’s praise in 2023. On3 said they were close off the field after that series but no real evidence. A long while ago Jay may have been to his wedding. He wasn’t in the wedding and Nick wasn’t in his. Cauble was wrong.
