USC booster and Ed Orgeron mentor Brian Kennedy was at the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year banquet tonight honoring O.

Asked in a smaller gathering about the current state of the Trojans’ program, he said: “Dogshit.”

I live in SoCal...they feel confident here that a day will come where they can throw money at him and lure him back.

Just the messenger.

Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos combined couldn't pay O to leave LSU.

Ed is a millionaire too by the way. Why cant the title be, “millionaire LSU head coach hangs with USC booster?”

The only way O leaves LSU is if they fire him.

Everyone has a price.

As for USC, well their current administration doesn't even seem to care about football at the moment so I doubt Ed will have any SoCal business calls anytime soon.

True. But if O keeps this up (he would have to for USC to offer) LSU ain't going to get outbid by a large enough amount for O to leave.

They spurned Ed and embarrassed him at the time. There is zero chance he would ever return there. Same for Ole Miss (not that they would ever be considered anyway)

That guy bleeds purple and gold. Anyone who thinks he can be swayed for ANYTHING is a fricking moron. If he was 35, 40, even 50 years old, I’d say there was a chance. He’s almost 60, landed his dream job, and USC didn’t want him because they didn’t like the way he talked. Money gets less important especially since his salary is about to take a huge hike up.

frick SC.

I love O and glad he’s the coach at LSU but history shows that his dream job has magically changed based on what is available.

He said the same thing about USC when he was interim coach there and campaigning for the job. Then said the same thing when he wanted the LSU job.

He’s done a great job but please stop acting like he has always been a tiger.

Probably the same people who said he wasn’t good enough. If he was at any other school I’d say they’d have a shot. Don’t think he leaves LSU for any other job though.

I hope he doesn't try to steal Ed O away to bring him to USC.
