I hope everyone from Miles down to the walk on punter all feel a real sense of urgency this spring

After the events at the end of last season drastic changes are very real if the same November collapses continue to happen

Unfortunately this "fire" in the Big Cat doesn't translate to well when we play Bama and Arkansas..

Washington and Smith are both receiving TEs. Miles is pushing them strengthen their blocking. I wish he would put the ball in their hands more instead of trying to turn them into Dillon Gordon.

Washington was very highly touted coming out of HS. Hope he gets on the field soon.

God forbid a TE learn how to block.

while I somewhat agree with this they also have to know how to catch. we probably 50 receptions from TEs since Dickson left

TE is moving more towards a specialty slot for a lot of teams

I never said they shouldn't learn to block. What I am pointing at is Miles obsesses with skill position players blocking. Which is due in part to that bull shite offense he tries to run constantly. How in the hell do you have Diarse in the game over any other receive on the roster. Diarse had bricks for hands, oh but he can block like a son of a bitch tho. Jacory Washington won the skills competition during his recruitment why the frick is he on the bench. Oh that's right because he can't block like a damn tackle. Desean Smith will get to the NFl and probably catch more passes in his first season as starter than he did his entire career at LSU.

That's pretty much only in the NFL. Very few college teams utilize the TE at all much less like Gronk and Graham. The QBs just aren't that good yet to get to that read unless it's the 1st one.

Maybe they should use the TEs for more than blocking. And I'm over these drills. Just beat Bama
