um...why would the HC of a program with the stature of LSU be remotely interested in a down step move to Colorado?

i think they want him, but i can see where he is pitching the idea of miles to their board.
They want McCartney to help in the search for a coach, He wants Miles. Him and Miles still have a close relationship and from what i have been told, if asked, Miles will have a hard time turning him down.

A low(er) pressure job still making great money at a good school located in a nice(er?) place to live after having already won a national championship. I could see it.

Yes, a step down in jobs, for less money. You people act like LM gives a rat’s arse about what a bunch of tards on a chat room think? You think he gives a rat’s arse about what the media says. I bet the man has 100% confidence in himself and being at LSU. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t have been as successful as he has been if he was coaching scared.
If you people want to have a little credibility, at least say it’s to Michigan or something that makes sense besides to a school “where’s there’s less pressure to win”. No big time coach is worried about that crap.

You act as if there aren't other reasons that people have linked him to that job, like his history there, or the nice area.

Oh I get it, its witty because Miles said "rats arse" so it makes you cool to say it as well

It's not even a lateral move, it’s a step down. And for less money. I personally don’t think the money would be the issue with LM. I think he, like most big time coaches loves the challenge. Like I said yesterday, if LM hit the power ball this weekend, he would still be coaching LSU. Its not a job to pay his bills. That’s been done already.

So why does he keep pushing for raises from LSU, just a great human being who doesn't need money

Everyone keeps pushing for raises. But do you really think the coaches at the major schools or even smaller schools are in it only for the money? My point is they love what they do and are driven to do it. Not just LM, but all or most coaches. They're not working like you and I are to save for retirement.
