I absolutely love rosewood, awesome color but I've never worked with it (I build furniture with hand tools). Apparently there is mahogany in Brazil, a special kind. Check This out.

Yes. And Scott has to actually put the note in its mouth. That slows the whole process up considerably.

Wow, I had no idea. Very interesting. What are your thoughts on Sapele? The african mahogany substitute. Apparently there is an all around shortage on mahogany, sapele is starting to get used a lot. Have you used it before?
