Yeah, that's the reason he is playing so poorly.
The excuses on this board is as retarded as the one Miles gives.

My problem with this is who gives a frick if we are 4-0.
I'm glad we are 4-0. It sure beats 3-1. 2-2, 1-3, and 0-4.
It's obvious that we just don't have the talent at QB - in JJ or JL. I think that CLM has stayed with JJ in a lesser of 2 evils sort of way, hoping that he would show slow improvement.
Some of that improvement was evident against MSU, but last night it was abundantly clear that this stay with JJ strategy is failing.
If the offense is a result of Miles poor leadership and coaching ability - then I guess by extension he's a genius because of our defensive play. The fact is, player talent matters.

Do alot of teams also want to be in the position our offense is in at this point of the season?
FRICK NO! I'm not sure if you guys realize it or not but pretty soon we aren't gonna be playing these teams who can't capitalize on our flaws. What's Miles gonna be saying then? I mean really, four games into the season and we're still working on our offense? Are Miles' post-game comments acceptable if this were the sixth game of the season? I think not.

Who is LSu qb coach because although they may work on the passing game in practice, apparenetly they arnt teaching proper throwing mechanics! How many yrs does it take for one to learn a quick short release?
Do you maggots actually think they don't work on the passing game in practice every day?

Miles thinks JJ was being booed?

Dont do this. Jefferson isn't bad because the fans are booing him. The fans are booing because the offense (mostly, but not exclusivly JJ) is bad. The ESPN announcer even said last night, "...these fans know football and they have a right to be booing this".

5 turnovers turned into 5 FG? His completion % is the only thing his fan club can point to-even on his completions, his receivers have to be like a Cirque du Soleil contortionist to reel it in. And they are always late, and never in stride.

I can pull up numerous threads from last season where I and many other posters were already there.

I hope you're wrong about what he'll be saying, but if he doesn't change QB's or improve the teams passing offense (not just JJ's play) our record could be worse than 8-4 by season's end.
Bama, Florida, Ark, Aub. will all beat us if we don't improve of offense, and we'll lose the Toilet bowl game as well, but we can change for the better.
Stubbornness is a terrible thing to watch. It's like watching the Kevin Costner in Tin Cup keep hitting those balls in the water over and over.

The statement that " Who gives a frick that we are 4-0" is the number 1 stupidest and most revealing statement about a large group of you morons on this board ever. Our offense sucks now, Crowton is failing, JL needs to start and spark ourpassing, our defense is tremendous, special teams the best in the country, and the name of the game is to WIN. We are 1-3 into our season, and have a chance at a great year if we can right the offense. By the way GA, ARK, TX, Miami, SC, GA Tech are a few teams that also would like to "Give a Frick" if they were 4-0. Would you delirios fans like to comment on # 8 Oklahoma's Defense and 3 point win over Air Force, and 2 point win over Cincy and wonder if they would prefer to be 2-2 or 4-0. Try to sound intelligent even if you are not.

Screaming Rabbit Guy,
Yes, we do know who LSU plays this season.
Do you realize that about 62% of the post on this board are from some Captain Obvious like you that feels compelled to log on with a freak-out post about the upcoming schedule?
Perhaps you should relax, go outside, and chill out a bit.

The post game comments by Miles and Saban show the difference in the two coaches.
Miles wants to say everything is under control
Saban was mad the team did not play to his expectations

Do you give stock tips?

Knowing it is one thing. Being able to do something about it is altogether different.
Jordan Jefferson is NOT an SEC caliber QB. The kid is a junior. If the college game was ever going to "slow down" for him, it very likely would have happened by now.
Your (pretty much one-and-only) alternative? A kid who holds the NCAA record for most pick-sixes thrown in a career...all thrown in one season.
As ridiculous as it sounds, I'm not sure that Barrett Bailey would be any worse of a choice at this point than either of these two. I'm having a hard time seeing how he could be worse.

A lot of us are old enough to remember what Bum Phillips football looked like. This offense looks to be a clone of the turd he put on the field 30 years ago, right down to the power RB wearing #34.

Jefferson is actually getting worse. His confidence is shot. This is what happens when you boo your own players
I'm not so sure his confidence wasn't shot after the spring game this past April. Early in the 4th qtr, just after the possession where he was 0 for 3 (just before JL came in), he missed a wide open Tolliver for about 17yds which would have given us the 1st. Walking off the field and while walking along the sideline, he can be seen repeatedly talking to himself saying, "he was wide open, F#$%*# wide open. Damn he was wide open!" I thought that was more telling about his confidence and current ability to hit the open target right now more than than anything.
Also, although ultimately it truly is the receivers' responsibility to concentrate and follow the ball into their hands, it is very difficult to do so when you are not sure if it is going to be at your feet, behind, over your head, or required to dive after it on timing routes. Another problem with Jefferson's passes is created when he "Rifles" the ball, the pass' attitude has the nose of the ball downward, which makes it more difficult for receivers to grasp with the hands unless it's right on target. I really think that's why RRandle was so excited on the sidelines after he caught Jl's pass @ Vandy, because it was very catchable, right on the money, and he was able to gain substantial yards after the catch.
