Chavis would leave if UT offered him HC position. He told them this when they offered him DC under Dooley. He told them "call back when you are offering HC."

I believe if UT wanted to speak to Chavis about an HC job, Miles would allow it.
An HC job for Chavis at UT is what? $3M / year. One would have to be an a-hole to stand between a colleague making that $$ and the money .. not Mile's M.O.
However, I could see Chavis getting more $$ at LSU out of all of this.
