Miles handled this well. What needs to really be said is those who boo can go frick themselves and never come to a game again.

This! I'd rather have an empty seat than one filled by an LSU "fan" booing the team. The claim they make that they were booing the coaches, the decision-making, etc. is transparent BS. I know better, the coaches know better, the players know better, & truth be told, they know better themselves. If you can't be supportive, save your money, stay home & curse the TV...it won't mind a bit or even realize what a pathetic excuse of a person you are.

Most everything he says makes sense. Its just that most of the fanbase lacks the intelligence to understand what he is saying.

I don't agree with the booing, but the matter is one of respect rather than concern for Jennings's confidence. If a bit of booing rattles him then he doesn't have the constitution to play quarterback.

Damn that was one of the best quotes I've seen by Miles. Have to agree with him...at no point should any "fan" be booing our players regardless of their play.

Well, since people are saying that the players can't differentiate where the boos were targeted, maybe when there's extreme disgust with Miles and his performance maybe the crowd should say Boooo Les Miles. That way the players will know who the boos are targeted towards.

Or maybe just leave out the part about wanting the backup in the game, and booing the coach as soon as they see the personnel on the field.

No not really most of what he says is so obvious a football savvy 2nd grader all ready knows. The rest well if being on hallucinogenics equates to intelligenics then yes we're out.

This is why the stadium does not fill up anymore. Frustration is normal. As in your frustration to booing fans.

Just b/c you and I don't agree about an issue doesn't mean either one of us is any less intelligent than the other. I for one believe, given Miles' pay grade, it is fair for the fans to publicly criticize their displeasure of his performance. He's one of the highest paid coaches in college football and the fans should voice their displeasures when he clearly makes dumb arse decisions.

He should have first told the kid that it was the coach that was the intended recipient of 95+% of the booing.

The booing was stupid and unnecessary, but I like how Les ignores the fact that he had a hand in instigating it.

The kid was struggling, and needed to sit a series or two if anything to collect himself, yet the coach in his own stubbornness refused to do that for whatever reason he had.

In the end, Les' quote is spot on, but he's got a huge chunk of blame in all of this. He screwed up JJ with this same BS, yet hasn't learned honestly.

Pure BS, has nothing whatsoever to do with attendance. It does have something to do with spoiled, entitled fans publically cannibalizing our own team.

Seems like to me they were booing Miles and not Jennings.

Yep. Too bad the first Miles quote that made sense still missed the boat.
